you cant take it with you

sound designjuly 2009, lyceum theatre

This show is about a family and the shenanigans that transpire.  The music needed to focus on the family and their state of life.  Along with the driving music in the show, there was also a parallel story about a father wanting to open a fireworks store.  The fireworks inevitably exploded in the basement of their house and caused a calamity in the family.  This major change in the family needed to be met with a sting at the end of the second act.  This need was meat by a plethora of fireworks ultimately encompassing the actors onstage.
